The SOBHD are saddened to hear of the loss of Jean Remenda, a former member of the SOBHD Judges’ panel, who passed away on Saturday 1st April 2017 in Port Moody, British Columbia. A Celebration of Life will be held in Vancouver at an appropriate time. Our thoughts are with Jean’s family at this time.
An updated version of the SOBHD Constitution & Rules is now available to buy from the online shop at a cost of £8. Make sure you are up to date with this latest 2017 edition of the Rules and Recommendations as laid down by the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing.

Congratulations to Cecilia Orr who received her Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) from HRH The Duke of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace on 11th November 2016. Cecilia was awarded her MBE on the Queens 90th Birthday honours list in 2016 for her services to Highland Dancing and charity work.
